The Oneida Daily Dispatch, LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF SULLIVAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Sullivan, New York, on April 1, 2015, proposed Local Law No. C-2015, titled, “A Local Law to Enact the Town of Sullivan Computer System Security Breach Notification Policy.” Said Local Law, if enacted, will establish procedures to follow in the event a person(s) has acquired without valid authorization, private information of individuals from the records of the Town of Sullivan and to alert said individuals to any potential identify theft as quickly as possible so that they may take appropriate steps to protect themselves from and remedy any impacts of the potential identity theft or security breach. The full text of said Local Law is on file at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Offices located at 7507 Lakeport Road, Chittenango, New York in the Town of Sullivan for inspection by all interested persons. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on April 1, 2015, the Town Board determined that this proposed Local Law is an unlisted action, pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act and a negative declaration was adopted at that time; NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Local Law at the Town of Sullivan Offices located at 7507 Lakeport Road, Chittenango, New York in the Town of Sullivan on May 6, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at which time all persons interested will be heard.
