The Oneida Daily Dispatch, LEGAL NOTICE Town of Smithfield Highway Department Advertisements for Bids PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Smithfield, Madison County, New York, sealed bids for the purchase of 1979 Auto Car ten wheel dump truck will be received at the office of the Superintendent of Highways at the Town Garage, 4608 Peterboro rd, Town of Smithfield, Madison County New York until 4:30 P.M. E.S.T on the 1 day of May, 2014, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes at the above address and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder. The item to be bid on will comply with the following general specifications: 1979 Auto Car Ten wheel dump truck, yellow in color with 13’ dump box with right hand wind and v- sander body. In as is where is condition with no warrantees or guarantees implied or otherwise. Detailed specifications are available to any interested bidder at the office of Highway Superintendent at 4608 Peterboro rd Peterboro New York. The contract for the purchase of the above item will be awarded by the Superintendent of Highways and the Town Board to the highest responsible bidder. In cases where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Superintendent of Highways may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Superintendent of Highways and the Smithfield Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and re advertise for new bids at its discretion.
