The Oneida Daily Dispatch, LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN OF NELSON PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Nelson will hold a public hearing October 9, 2014 at 7:15 p.m. at the Town of Nelson Office Building located at 4085 Nelson Road in the Hamlet of Nelson, to consider a proposed local law entitled, “A local law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law section 3-c for the 2015 fiscal year.” This local law is intended to authorize the Town of Nelson to exceed the 2% tax levy cap otherwise provided under New York State law for the Town’s 2015 budget and fiscal year. A complete copy of the proposed local law is available for review at the office of the Town Clerk during the Clerk’s regular business hours.
