The Oneida Daily Dispatch, LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING ON MADISON COUNTY’S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NEEDS AND NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY Notice is hereby given that Madison County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 5:30 P.M., in the Supervisor’s Chambers, County Office Building, Wampsville, NY to obtain the views of citizens, public agencies, and other interested parties on the community development needs of the County. New York State will accept a Community Development Block Grant application from the County for up to $750,000 for the year 2015 to meet community development needs for housing, microenterprises, and public facilities. A summary of the CDBG program and the range of eligible projects will be presented at the public hearing. The County anticipates applying to New York State for funds to assist the County in meeting identified Community Development needs. The County encourages public comment and participation in the identification of needs and in the preparation of the grant application. Written comments on the County’s development needs and approaches to meeting those needs can be submitted to the Planning Department Director, Madison County Planning Department, PO Box 606, Wampsville, NY 13163. Comments need to be received before Friday, January 23, 2015.
