The Oneida Daily Dispatch, LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN AMBULANCE DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF HAMILTON The Town Board, by adoption of a resolution on January 21, 2015, determined upon the evidence given at a public hearing held on January 21, 2015 that it is in the public interest to form an ambulance district in the Town of Hamilton. The boundaries of the district are as follows: The entire Town of Hamilton, including all of the Village of Hamilton within the Town’s boundaries, along with all of the Village of Earlville that is within the Town of Hamilton’s boundaries and within Madison County, if said villages will consent to the establishment of such a district within their villages. The adoption of said resolution, a copy of which follows, is subject to a permissive referendum and shall not take effect until thirty (30) days after its adoption, nor until approved by the affirmative vote of a majority of those qualified to vote on the issue if, within that period, there is filed with the Town Clerk a petition properly signed by the required number of owners of taxable real property within the proposed district, all as required by Town Law Section 209-e.
